Mykola Tomenko: The Sum of the Mortgage should prevent Inadequate and Odd Candidates for the President´s Elections
Mykola Tomenko, the Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is staying with the Working Visit in Rivne City on 23 July 2009.
Speaking about the work of the Parliament during the pre-termed plenary meeting on the 24th of July, M. Tomenko announced that he hoped on its normal course. According to him, for the tomorrow are introduced numbers of vital bills in particular concerning refinancing of banking system and amendments to the Law on the Elections of the President of Ukraine.
Regarding his own amendment concerning the increase of the bail for the candidates for the post of the President of Ukraine, the Vice-Chairman declared that he is ready for the compromises regarding the increase of the bail. "The sum should be at such rate that political insane and inadequate people have no possibility to have something in common with the President´s campaign".
Regarding the issue regarding possible scrutiny during the pre-termed session of proposition initiated by the Party of Regions concerning the increase of the social standards, the Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada declared that the parliamentarians are ready to deal with such increase but during the next budget year. According to him it is not reasonable to adopt such decision in the interests of the elections´ campaign.
